Dear Marshdale Families,

It was great to see folks brave the weather and attend conferences last week. Thank you again to our tremendous PTA for providing dinner.

Marshdale Accountability Committee will meet on Tuesday at 4:15pm. All are welcome. We’ll be taking a look at the state’s financial outlook for education and how property taxes don’t always mean more money for schools.

We’re excited to have our talented students put on a show Thursday for our students and Wednesday evening for the parents. Congratulations to all our parents of the brave ones who have it in them to get up and perform.

Please click MUSTANG WEEKLY  for our Sunday newsletter, so you are up to date on what is happening in the Marshdale community.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a great start to the new year. We are expecting some tired children this first week back. As we welcome students back, time will be spent going over expectations and routines. Our Student Leadership group worked on creating posters that will be hung in different locations around the building to help set a positive tone for the new year. Students will put their thumb prints on the posters to help create a sense of ownership. Make sure to look for them next time you're in the building. A huge Thank You to the Weeks family for donating their time on printing the posters.
